Stakeholders have ranged from members of the community, boards of directors, executive, front line workers, union representatives, politicians and regulators.
Methods of stakeholder consultation have included surveys (including web enabled and paper based surveys), interviews and focus groups.

FIELD EXPERIENCE
FMCG:
We were engaged by this company (FMCG) to assist in the stakeholder consultation process for their Corporate Social Responsibility report. All of our work was independently audited to ensure that it complied with AA1000S. It involved:
- Stakeholder mapping and identification
- The process involved over 30 workshops and one-on one consultations with a range of stakeholders including employees, suppliers, clients, regulators, union representatives and other interested parties
- Conducting stakeholder consultation on the organisation’s social and environmental impact
- Consultation methods included over 50 one-on-one interviews, phone interviews and consultation sessions with anywhere from 5 to 100 participants
INSURANCE COMPANY:
Design and conduct of stakeholder analysis for a large insurance organisation. The purpose of the analysis was to review the existing community consultation process of the organisation nationally and to make recommendations as to how this could be made more strategic and comprehensive.
BEVERAGE COMPANY:
We were engaged by THIS FMCG to train their employees in CSR developments and in particular in the new accountability’s of supply chain management in developing countries.
GOVERNMENT AGENCY:
An assessment of stakeholder satisfaction with a NSW government agency, involving interviews and a client satisfaction survey. Recommendations included a cultural change management program.
