Managing Values is considered a pioneering consultancy in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). We were founding board members of ethical investment movement in Australia and regular media advocates for the CSR movement for over 15 years. Our experience includes the facilitation of some of the very first triple bottom line reports in Australia and the facilitation of the first national stakeholder dialogue sessions.
In 2006 Managing Values ran the Sustainability 06 series of conferences in Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland bringing international opinion leaders such as John Elkington (who coined the term triple bottom line reporting) to Australia together with representatives of the Dow Jones Sustainable Index, Intel and global design company IDEO. Managing Values continues to enjoy a long-standing relationship with Elkington’s consultancy, SustainAbility Ltd and Volans.
Managing Values recently designed and ran a series of workshops for State Business Chamber of Commerce executives on Sustainable Business and has worked with the NSW government to develop a green house rating for insurance companies.
Managing Values Principal, Dr Attracta Lagan, sat on the External Sustainability Advisory Panel for The Minerals Council of Australia for 4 years as well as leading KPMG’s inaugural Australian sustainability practice for several years.
Managing Values Principle Principal Brian Moran has been an adjunct lecturer at University of Technology, Sydney in Sustainable Enterprise (Bachelor of Business) and Managing for Sustainability (MBA) for 3 years
