ATTRACTA LAGAN

Attracta LaganAttracta Lagan is a management consultant with a social sciences training background and has some 15 years experience working with the Boards and senior managements of many of Australia's ‘blue chip' companies and government enterprise.
Prior to joining Managing Values she led KPMG's business ethics and corporate citizenship practice in Australia for 6 years and prior to that she was the founding Director of Consulting at the St James Ethics Centre.
She is passionate about bringing individual and corporate personalities closer together to release the discretionary efforts of enterprise members so that both they and their enterprises can grow from their workplace experiences.
Attracta was an early advocate of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability agenda and was a founding board member of the Australian ethical investment movement and the Australian Futures Foundation.
As well as consulting extensively across Australia, she has consulted to European and Asian business enterprises and she has spoken at several international forums on practical business ethical challenges and how to address them.
She has written extensively in the business press on the ethical dimension of 21st. Century society and is a regular visitor to the Boardrooms of Australia.

Attracta sat on the External Sustainability Advisory Council of the Minerals Council of Australia for several years and she continues as a member of two community boards.
She holds an honours degree in sociology, a Masters degree in social ecology and a Ph.D. which reviewed how the organisational context compromises personal values.

BRIAN MORAN

Brian Moran

Brian Moran is an ex-CEO of a multinational corporation and retrained as a social ecologist and management consultant.

He works alongside executive management focusing on the performance benefits of developing greater alignment and commitment to stated values and business principles.

An experienced facilitator, Brian has worked extensively with executive leadership teams across the sectors applying his skills in strategic planning and executive leadership training to facilitate greater clarity, commitment and organisational capacity in pursuit of organisational missions and business goals. He has in-depth industry experience in the health, education and FMCG areas.

Brian also has a rich track record of experience working in Asia and has written on the culture differences between doing business in the West and the East. He has developed a number of innovative group processes to facilitate greater understanding across cultural differences.

Brian holds a Masters degree in Social Ecology from the University of Western Sydney and currently lectures in Managing for Sustainability on the MBA program at University of Technology, Sydney and in small business management at Sydney University, as part of the Masters in Commerce degree.

DEBBIE HENDERSON

Debbie Henderson is an organisational psychologist with 10 years experience in creating environments where employees feel empowered to co-create effective and fun workplaces.

Prior to working with Managing Values, Debbie was Senior Organisational Development Consultant with a major telecommunications company; a senior manager within KPMG's Sustainability Practice and a consultant with Andersens in the areas of Change Management, Ethics Advisory and Integrity Risk.

Debbie is adept at coaching all levels of management in effective, values-based leader ship. She has designed and conducted quantitative ethical culture assessments as well as conducting integrity risk training for public and private sector organisations.

Debbie has assisted in the development and implementation of ethics training programs for the NSW Government, the South Australian and Victorian public service as well as major private coporations. She has also been responsible for conducting psychological and behavioral assessments for a variety of clients across sectors.

Debbie's great strength is her attention to detail and her critical thinking skills. 

NATHAN BERTON

Nathan is currently studying a Bachelor of Business majoring in Marketing and Advertising at the University of Technology Sydney.

He has come on board with Managing Values to gain some valuable experience and offer part time marketing assistance to the team. Nathan holds a Certificate 4 in Business Administration and a Diploma of Business Marketing from TAFE NSW.

Nathan is passionate about student and youth welfare and is a volunteer with The Inspire Foundation, who exist to help improve the lives of young people in Australia. He was the School Captain of his high school, represented the Northern Beaches district as a member of the NSW Student Representative Council and also represented Australia at the International Student Representative Council conference.
